The Royal Adelaide Show is a South Australian icon - hosting an average of half a million people each year and showcasing the best of the country to the city.

The Royal Show is a time for South Australians to put their best on Show - proudly celebrating the best in agriculture and horticulture, across nine days jam-packed full of family fun and entertainment.

This year's Show will be one for the history books, as we bring you the Australian-first, Southern Lights Spectacular - proudly presented by Drakes Supermarkets. The breathtaking performance will light up the sky every night on the Main Arena in celebration of the Adelaide Showground's centenary.

Southern Lights Spectacular is a narrated sound and light show which will transform the night sky into a breathtaking canvas of light, sound, and storytelling.

This epic thirty-minute narrative takes you on a journey through the wonderful and mythological world of the Aurora Australis.

So mark your calendars for Saturday, August 30 as the best of the country will return to the city!
