The Yakka Wakkas B&S Ball will be held on Saturday 2nd May 2026
Please note - out of respect for ANZAC Day and our fallen heroes, the date has been moved for 2026.

Rules & Answers to FAQ's
- Ball Date: Always the last weekend in April
- Carpark gates open:
Friday 4pm - 11pm
Saturday 7am
- Ball Gates open -6pm Saturday
- Ticket includes: a merch pack (stubby holder, sticker, ear tag) Live entertainment, hot food & cold drinks in the ball Saturday night & recovery breakfast on Sunday morning
- Prepaid tickets: $160
- At the Gate: $175
- Tickets will only be refunded if the event is cancelled.
- No reduced ticket price for non drinkers
- Tickets may be available at the gate on the day, however there is no guarantee of this given we are subject to limited numbers
- Over 18's Only
- No Photo ID-No Entry
- Dress code: Black tie / Op-shop formal unless we have a theme
- This years theme is: MAD MAX
- Friday night camping = Yes (Ts & Cs apply)
- Drinks in the ball will be "can for can"
- Water & soft drink will be available all night in the ball
- Food will be available all night in the ball
- BYO drinks for the carpark
- NO glass - please tip all spirits into plastic bottles & don't bring stubbies. Ball officials will be checking vehicles & eskies at the gate, ALL glass will be confiscated
- No pets allowed (with the exception of trained service dogs)
- SA road rules apply in the carpark
- No camping permitted behind or in front of vehicles: in, on or beside only.
- Breathos will available for a gold coin donation
- No fires or fireworks: there will be comfort fires in the ball arena
- First aid will be available all day saturday - midday sun
- Food vans will be in the carpark selling hot food from midday Saturday
- Carpark games/activities will commence around 10am
- Please place all rubbish in rubbish bags provided before you leave
- Please read the conditions of entry sign upon entering the Carpark
- STRICTLY NO FOOD DYE: anyone caught with food dye will be escorted from the ball arena by officials & have their wrist band removed. This rule also applies to those caught spitting drinks.
- Photography/videos taken may be used for promotional purposes
- Don't be a Wakka, do the right thing & protect the future of balls
